Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

First Co is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in manufacturing processes and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize production systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and process automation.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities/ Goals:

• Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems, including assembly and CNC machining
• Develop and maintain schematics and diagrams of manufacturing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
• Program robots and CNC machines to optimize production efficiency and accuracy.
• Create and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing projects.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct continuous improvement initiatives to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.

Required Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CNC machining and robot programming.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Manufacturing experience in the HVAC industry and in a fast paced environment
